Dragging Youth Shows have entertainers of all ages and levels of experience in a loving and welcoming safe spaces. All are Welcome to perform, sign up begins Sept 22.

These shows are wheelchair accessible for performers and audience!

We do not want finances to be a barrier to anyone attending this event. A limited amount of reduced fee tickets are available. Please contact us to make arrangements based on your needs. We will also accept e-transfer to purchase tickets without the fees.

Basic Drag Etiquette:

• Be respectful

• Tip the performers (these performers are working for free to help charities, reward them!)

• Cheer and clap, let everyone know you are having a good time!

• Don’t get on stage (unless invited)

• Have fun

• And a rule that is pretty universal: Don’t ever touch the performers without consent. In fact, don’t ever touch anyone without consent.

Dragging Youth (est 2016) is a 100% volunteer organization. Family Friendly monthly all age drag shows, plus more support throughout the month. A place for all ages (young and old together) to perform, relax, enjoy, find mentorship, and friends in a 2SLGBTQQIA+ safe environment, while we raise funds for 2SLGBTQQIA+ youth initiatives and other great causes.

The Unitarian Church of Edmonton is a sponsor of Dragging Youth Shows. Dragging Youth has monthly Shows at the Unitarian Church of Edmonton (UCE). UCE has no stairs going into the building or to public areas. There is a button operated door at the front. A lovely ramp for performers to get on stage. Plus accessible, gender neutral washrooms. Chairs in the Sanctuary are easily moved to accommodate various needs. UCE also has a quiet room where shows can be viewed with decreased stimulus. Plus there is a free app which sound can be played through your device for those hard of hearing.
